Super SCRAPBOOK Saturday is a FUN fundraising event that benefits the Warrior Athletic Club Softball program. You will find lots of uninterrupted time to work on your albums and projects, multiple vendors, door prizes & goodies, free make-n-take projects, a garage sale table.....and a chance to meet lots of others who love scrapbooking as much as you do!

Schedule & Location

Cropping Party: 10am-8pm Shopping: 11am-6pm (Vendors open early at 10am for croppers only!) Make-n-Takes: 11am-6pm (10am start for croppers only!)

Waukee High School - 555 Southeast University Ave. - Waukee, Iowa (just west of Des Moines)

Directions: From I-80/I-35, take exit 125 (Highway 6, also called Hickman Rd.). Drive west for a few miles, and then turn left on Warrior Lane (soon after you see the McDonalds on your left). Take a left on Ashworth, and the High School will be on your left. Enter the highschool through the main doors.

If you are looking to make this a "Get-a-way Weekend", Waukee High School is just minutes away from Iowa's newest Mega Mall - Jordan Creek Town Center (www.jordancreektowncenter.com) in West Des Moines (see maps below). Jordan Creek Town Center has a 20-screen movie theater, awesome restaurants (The Cheesecake Factory, PF Chang's, Joe's Crab Shack, Champps.....), great shopping, and many hotels nearby (Hampton Inn Des Moines-West, SpringHill Suites by Marriott, Fairfield Inn & Suites, West Des Moines Marriott, Residence Inn Des Moines West at Jordan Creek Town Center).

$15 per person OR $50 per reserved table (for 2, 3 or 4 people)

*Work Time - Bring your scrapbooking & stamping supplies and work from 10am-8pm on your projects. Imagine what you could get done in 10 hours! *Vendors - Many great supplies will be available for sale from 10am-6pm, just steps away from where you are working! *Make-n-Takes - Vendors will be providing FREE projects for you to MAKE and then TAKE home with you! *Door Prizes & Goodies - Lots of great items! *Garage Sale - If you have any scrapbooking or stamping items you no longer need or use, just put a reasonable price on them and drop them off at the Garage Sale table. All of the proceeds from the garage sale will benefit the Warrior Athletic Club ASA Softball program. Maybe you'll find a great bargain or two for yourself!

(The tables are 5' round, and will seat 2, 3 to 4 croppers, with lots of room between tables! If you register for a reserved table, you have the option of having 2, 3 or 4 people at your table. If you register by yourself, you will be able to sit in the open seating section with 3 to a table.)

Beginner's Welcome! All you need to start scrapbooking are some pictures. Other basics needed are paper or cardstock, adhesive to adhere your pictures to the paper, and a pen to write down dates, names, thoughts and/or memories. Our vendors will have plenty of acid free / archival quality supplies to help you get started! Plus, you can complete the free make-n-take projects the vendors are providing to learn new things, look at other people's scrapbooks for ideas, and you'll have a good chance of winning a door prize! It is a great way to to preserve your memories, and meet some fun people in the process. Come join us!

The vendors plan to have lots of great products to show you and will be providing FREE make-n-take projects! $3 per person in advance or at the door.... OR FREE for those attending the Cropping Party!

Registration

There is a $15 registration fee for the cropping party. If you wish, you may reserve a table for a $50 fee which guarantees you will be able to sit together with friends, and you will each receive an additional door prize slip! (Only one person per table needs to pay the $50 table reservation fee, which includes the crop fees for the 2, 3 to 4 people sitting at the table.) If you are unable to attend the crop party, you are still able to pre-register to visit the vendors for $3, or pay at the door the day of the event. Registration confirmations will be sent by email.

Event Policies

FUNDRAISER - All proceeds will go to the Warrior Athletic Club ASA Softball program. The $15 crop fee, $50 table reservation fee, and $3 shopping fee are non-refundable. If you find that your plans have changed and you are not able to attend, please send a lucky friend in your place! We would just need to know their name in advance.

Returned Check Policy - All returned checks will be assessed a $30 returned check fee.
