Dear Parents & Players,

Fall Ball through the Warrior Athletic Club (WAC) program is for girls wishing to play softball at a more competitive level than recreational softball. Fall Ball is a great way to keep your playing skills sharp, and for those interested, to get ready for the 2009 competitive WAC team tryouts that will be held soon after Fall Ball ends in late September / early October.

Fall Ball games are double-headers played on Saturdays and Sundays at the end of August and through September at diamonds around the area, such as Urbandale, Ankeny, West Des Moines, Indianola, etc. Your team will usually play around 16 games, weather permitting. Playing dates for Fall Ball this year are:
August 16 & 17
August 23 & 24
September 6 (10U & 12U only) & September 7 (all age levels)
September 14
September 21

The WAC plans to form teams for existing WAC players at the 10U, 12U and 14U levels. It is recommended if you are required to move up a level next spring due to your age (i.e. 10U to 12U), you should play up this Fall to get used to the rule changes and the different playing level.
