WAC Information

The Warrior Athletic Club (WAC) Competitive Softball Association's mission is to develop a championship girls softball program for the Waukee Community School District that encourages participation, excellence, sportsmanship, pride, and fun. We will accomplish and sustain this through player, coach, and facility development as well as fundraising and marketing with the assistance and cooperation of the parents and community.

General Details

Participation in the WAC is open to all girls aged 7-15 living within the Waukee Community School District.  Currently, there a programs for 8U, 10U, 12U, and 14U based on USSSA age regulations.

8U Coach Pitch: Girls 7 or 8 years of age on December 31st of the previous year

10U: Girls 8**, 9 or 10 years of age on December 31st of the previous year

12U: Girls 11 or 12 years of age on December 31st of the previous year.

14U: Girls 13 or 14 years of age on December 31st of the previous year.

Teams are form based on Tryouts.  Fees may vary based on age groups, number of tournaments scheduled and other factors.

Fall/Spring Program

Starting with the 2011 Fall – 2012 USSSA Season, teams will be formed prior to the Fall session and play together through the Spring session - a season long commitment to a team.  Here is more details - 2011-12 Info
